Sort and Filter Onscreen Data

• Click the column heading once to sort the rows in ascending (A-Z; 1-2-3; Chronological; etc.) order .
• Click the column heading again to sort the rows in descending (Z-A; 3-2-1; Reverse-Chronological; etc.) order.

1. Drag a column heading onto the gray bar at the top of the table to collect rows in groups.

   

2. Click a group's Expand (+) button to display the rows inside it.

   

3. Click a group's Contract (-) button to hide the rows inside it.

Drag a column heading above the gray bar at the top of the table to remove it from the table.

1. Click the Filter (funnel shape) button in the column heading to display a filter selection menu.

   

2. Complete any of these procedures to enter desired filter criteria:
   • Check the checkbox(es) for contents to be retained. (Uncheck the boxes for items to filter out.)
   • Enter one or more characters in the Search field to select matching checkboxes.
3. Click the OK button to show filtered results.

1. Click the Filter (funnel shape) button in the column heading to display a filter selection menu.

   

2. Click the Text Filters (or Number Filters) option to display a menu of filter controls.

   

3. Click the desired filter control to display the Custom Filter Selection window.

   

4. Add Conditions, Operators, and Operands as desired.
5. Click the OK button to display the filtered list.

• Save a Layout

  1. Select the desired combination of filters, sorts, groupings, etc.

  2. Enter a name for the layout in the Default Grid Layout field.

     Note: Some screens allow the user to modify and save changes to the default (Default Grid Layout) layout, though most do not.

  3. Click the Save button beside the field to save the current layout under the name in the field.

• Recall a Layout

  Select the desired layout name from the Default Grid Layout drop-down.

  Note: Select the Default Grid Layout option to recall the default layout.

1. Sort and filter the report as desired.

2. Right-click on the screen to display a menu of options.

   

   Note: On some screens, this menu may contain additional options.

3. Click the Report Customization option to display the Custom Grid Settings window.

   

4. Enter a name for the custom report settings in the field.
5. Click the Save button to save the custom view.
